General Information.
AMERICA.
UNITED STATES.—Brother Jonathan has come to his senses again, as there was no "airthly reason why he should not." After a good deal of swagger about "hook and line, bob and sinker," he has quietly subsided into temporary tranquility, to be ruffled again by the first pebble that is cast into his frothy bosom. It is quite certain that a brush must come with him sooner or later; whether it is best to stave it off, or give him a lesson at once, is an open question.
